Dan why are you being all "woo woo" all of a sudden? What's happened to you?
I am as far from "woo woo" as you can possibly get and the message that I want to pass on for the men is..you don't need to be "Woo woo" to actually follow your calling and to start listening to your true higher self and step away from the ego.
A lot of the men into spirituality I've met recently that you may consider as leading normal 'manly' lives.
Boxers, personal trainers, forces, ex-miners.
And they all tell me the same thing, it's the happiest they've ever felt. That they have found their 'true' self.
I'm;
1. Ex Forces (Did many tours of afghanistan, iraq etc) went out with the lads, enjoyed a beer.. 2. Ex custody officer 3. Ex gym owner 4. Worked in a bar 5. Used to amateur body build
I like:
Gaming, Snowboarding, Sport, Doing things with the family etc..
I care less what people think I have a smaller/closer circle of people i love I choose who i spend time with that lift me up
I still feel like a man, i am a man...i just don't follow the social norms of not giving a "Sh^%" about myself and following societies 'standards' in order to fit in.
A year ago, would i be putting this on my own public Facebook profile? Hell no...
No doubt I'll be judged - is there something wrong with me? No...but there is certainly something wrong with a person who casts judgement/gossips about others.
If you are truly not happy within, then ask yourself - why? And what can I do about that? Because your higher self is telling you - that you're trapped.
A man, in my view - is someone that can admit their not happy and do something to change that.
Not one that puts this false bravado out to others to 'fit in' .
You should 'fit' into yourself....nobody else.
You know whether you are 'acting'. Be true to yourself.
